“We now use Solidworks 2019 from the outset of any project to capture design intent and enable rapid advancement of design concepts into manufacturing data. We are able to capture the complete broach manufacturing process within Solidworks and produce 3D model data that mirrors the manufacturing method. This enables us to integrate our design data into our manufacturing instruction, quality procedures and project management activities.Solidworks is also used in the complete assembly design of work heads, broaches and pull bars and because of the features within Solidworks we are able to interrogate our design concept prior to manufacture and communicate design intent with our customers. This accumulates in a faster route to manufacture and product delivery”
